How to choose aluminum alloy doors and windows?

When decorating a house, choosing doors and windows is a difficult point. Many homeowners don’t know how to choose doors and windows? Today, Xiaoshi has specially compiled seven things you need to pay attention to when choosing aluminum alloy doors and windows. You can easily save thousands of dollars. Be sure to read it carefully.
1. Classification of doors and windows.
There are two main categories of doors and windows on the market at present, one is aluminum alloy doors and windows, and the other is broken bridge aluminum doors and windows. In fact, broken bridge aluminum is an upgraded version of aluminum alloy. Spacers are added in the middle of ordinary aluminum alloy door and window profiles to divide the aluminum alloy profiles into two parts, thereby acting as a partition and reducing heat conduction and noise transmission.
If you go to the building materials market, you will find that in addition to the above two categories, there are also categories based on the thickness of the window frame. Therefore, many merchants say 40, 60, 80, 90 and 110, etc. In fact, 40 refers to the frame. The thickness is 40mm, and so on, 80 means the thickness of the frame is 80mm.
Another classification is based on the way the windows are opened, which are divided into casement windows and sliding doors and windows. Casement windows have good sound insulation and sealing properties, but they are more expensive than sliding windows.
Which window to choose? It is recommended to choose broken bridge aluminum outward-opening casement windows. The thicker the window frame, the better, but the higher the price. Choose according to your own budget, but not less than 60 mm.
2. Profile thickness.
Profiles have thickness. The main wall thickness of profiles for windows shall not be less than 1.4 mm, and the thickness of the main walls of profiles for doors shall not be less than 2.0 mm. The thicker the thickness, the better the strength and toughness, and the better the sound and heat insulation effect, but the price will be higher.
3. Glass material.
Glass is the main material for doors and windows. It is related to sound insulation, heat insulation and safety. You must choose a good glass material, otherwise you will really get into trouble. How to choose glass material?
①. Choose tempered glass that has passed 3C certification;
② Select insulating glass. For example, the standard glass of the 60 series is "5+15+5" insulating glass. What does 5+15+5 mean? In fact, it is 5mm glass + 15mm hollow + 5mm glass.
③. Glass must be anti-explosion and anti-shattering to be safe.
4. Hardware accessories.
The hardware accessories of doors and windows generally include handles, four-links and lock seats. Other auxiliary accessories mainly include connectors, connectors, reinforcements and cushions. In addition, sealing materials are also required.
