Generally speaking, one TEU requires about 300kg of aluminum profiles and about 200kg of aluminum plates. Based on this calculation, about 32,000 tons of aluminum alloy profiles and about 18,000 tons of aluminum alloy plates are needed for containers every year, and a total of 50,000 tons of aluminum is needed/ years and above;


(2) Alloy varieties, specifications and models of aluminum alloy profiles for aluminum containers
The aluminum alloys used in container profiles are mainly 6061, 6082, 6351, 6005, 6063 and 6060, among which 6061 and 6082 alloys account for more than 90%. Asian and American boxes mainly use 6061 alloy, while European boxes mainly use 6082 alloy ;


Generally speaking, each box type needs to use 15 to 20 kinds of aluminum alloy profiles of different specifications and shapes, which are used as the floor, connectors, thresholds, forklift guide rails, bottom support beams, top support beams, and side aluminum panels for upper and lower fixation. Cross beams, interior corner connectors, exterior decorative parts, cold air doors, door frames and door hinges, etc. At present, hundreds of container aluminum alloy profiles of different specifications and models have been developed by countries around the world;


(3) Alloy varieties and specifications of aluminum plates for containers
At present, various types of container aluminum alloy plates mainly use 5052 alloy, the state is H32 or H34, σь is 310~380MPa and 340~410MPa respectively, σ0.2 is more than 230MPa and 260MPa respectively, δ is 7%~ depending on the thickness. 12%;
